My Story (Short Version)

Hi.  My name is Peter-John Courson.  I am a Teaching Pastor at Applegate Christian Fellowship.  I'm here because of three reasons:  My God, my wife, my parents.

I pastored a church in Dana Point for the past eight years.  Disneyland, sunshine, beaches, and the (Anaheim) Angels...it was a blast.  Then the Lord made it clear I was to return to Southern Oregon.  After about a year,  it became obvious as to why.  I had brain problems!  Well, I always have but this time they were more than just moments of "Pete's humor".  Now the doctors had to preform brain surgery, not once but twice, in order to remove all the growth.  This came after nearly twenty years of fighting a brutal case of Crohn's Disease.  All that to say is.... Grace.

Grace.  Beauty for ashes and wiping away of tears. 

Grace.  His strength being made perfect in our weakness.

Grace.  It is not what I must do,  it is what He has done.

Period.
